Christmas is still a few weeks away, but we’re getting wild and kicking off the giving today. Along with the twelve days of Christmas, you can also look forward to the twelve Shopware plugins whose code are now available on GitHub. Just like our Premium Plugins, we developed these extensions to give your online shop an even larger range of functionality. However, unlike our Premium Plugins, these extensions will no longer be supported by us.
Instead, you can find their complete code on GitHub, where they will continue to be developed on an individual basis. Several of these plugins are already available for free in the Shopware Community Store.
These are the plugins:
1. Sort categories individually / SwagDefaultSort
Using this plugin, you can create individual sorting options for every category in your backend. You can add additional sorting options using your own attributes.
2. Facebook / SwagFacebook
The Facebook plugin allows you to add a “Like” button on your products. Comments from Facebook users can be maintained in a separate tab on the product detail page.
3. Individual item accessory groups / SwagAccessory
This perfect cross-selling tool lets you tease complimentary items on the product detail page. The customer only has to activate a checkbox on the teased product and add it to their shopping cart with one click.
4. Additional item attributes / SwagAdditionalAttributes
This plugin instantaneously doubles your number of attribute fields from 20 to 40 and supports all nine field-types, including textbox, number and HTML field.
5. Piwik – Open source web analytics / SwagPiwik
This enables a connection between Shopware and Piwik, an open source web analytics software that creates real-time reports of your shop. These include general tracking reports (i.e. hits and visits) and analyses of shopping carts and product detail pages.
6. Variants filter / SwagVariantFilter
This plugin automatically creates additional filter options based on the product variant options of a category. The filter options are then displayed within the category listing.
7. Glossary /SwagGlossar
Clarify specific terms in your online shop. These terms will be marked in the product detail text with a hyperlink, that when activated per mouse-over effect, reveals the full term description.
8. New password forget function / SwagPasswordRestore
Forgotten password? No problem – the customer will receive a time-sensitive link that can be used tp create a new, secure password.
9. Sort individual listings / SwagCustomSort
This plugin allows you to customize your product listings using drag & drop. It’s possible to create both minor variations of the default sorting and completely customized assortments. You can also synchronize categories, which is particularly useful for language shops.
10. Automatic language shop selection / SwagBrowserLanguage
This plugin detects the customer’s browser language and automatically forwards them to the appropriate language or subshop. A default shop can be set for browser languages that do not match the online shop.
11. Exclude products from total discount / SwagDisableArticleDiscount
Use this plugin to exclude products from being discounted form the total cart value. The excluded items are displayed in a clear table and can be easily edited or removed.
