Yesterday and today, Shopware welcomed over 100 partners to the headquarters for an exclusive “Meet & Greet”. The event was held to both share the latest developments from Shopware, provide a look into the 2017 roadmap and celebrate particularly loyal Shopware partners for their exceptional support in 2016.
Full program with a look to the future
The event kicked off with a presentation from Stefan Heyne, Shopware CEO, and Klaus Pieper, Director of Sales & Relations, providing the partners with a review of 2016 along with some figures, growth forecasts and further measures regarding Shopware’s international progress.
Daniel Nögel launched into the Enterprise Roadmap and introduced a new suite for B2B online sale. The new B2B suite is planned to me much more than just a plugin: the platform will combine the USPs from Shopware’s B2C capabilities with sophisticated B2C functionality. The Enterprise Roadmap will now focus on optimizing Shopware even further for B2B online business.
Enterprise Dealer Integration
With B2B becoming increasingly more important, businesses are looking for ways to transfer their processes from the offline to online world. The new dealer integration presented by Philipp Scharlau and Heike Zellerhoff provide businesses with the ideal solution for meeting different requirements in the market, enabling manufacturers, wholesalers and suppliers to integrate their resellers into their existing system landscape.
New Partner Program launching in 2017
Stephan Bütterhoff, Manager of International Sales, shared the general Shopware roadmap for 2017, which includes rolling out a completely redesigned partner program. The goal of the new program is to offer even more transparency and provide customers with the best support connecting with quality partners. As an open company, we of course welcome feedback and suggestions from our partners so that we can build a program that works best for their business needs.
After work comes play
On a tour through the HQ, our partners had the opportunity to get to know the faces behind Shopware and gather an impression of the working culture. The Shopware Labs was a particularly popular stop on the tour, with several partners having the opportunity to test the latest VR gadgets for the first time. Food and drinks were of course taken care of and – per Shopware fashion – there was an after-networking-party that continued late until the evening hours.
The exclusive Partner Meat & Greet finished with a balanced breakfast and additional opportunities to have one-on-one conversations with the Shopware team.
We want to thank our visitors for such making this such a successful event. We truly appreciate your feedback and look forward to working even closer together on upcoming projects!
